Pastor Bradley Smith

Administrative Pastor


Pastor Smith has served St. John since the summer of 2003, after serving congregations in Wyoming and Wisconsin. His greatest joy as a pastor is sharing the Word of God through teaching and preaching. He graduated from Concordia-Ann Arbor in 1984. Pastor Smith then attended Concordia Theological Seminary, receiving his M.Div. He supplemented his education by attending Concordia Seminary-St. Louis and receiving a STM. Though born in Hawaii, Pastor Smith was raised in Michigan. Pastor Smith is married to Judy and has three sons. He loves baseball, even coaching the Lutheran Northwest summer team for several years.

Pastor Peter Elliott

Associate Pastor

Pastor Elliott was born on February 11th, 1984 in Ft. Wayne, IN. Soon afterward, he was baptized into Christ on February 19th. From his earliest memory, he has wanted to be a pastor.

On December 31st, 2004, Pastor married his lovely wife, Valerie. They moved to St. Louis where he attended Concordia Seminary. Pastor Elliott was then ordained on August 1st, 2010 in Boyne City, MI. Pastor and Valerie now have four sons (Elijah, Daniel, Isaiah and Moses) and two daughters (Grace and Hannah). They love being parents and spending time with their kids.

Pastor Elliott will be finishing a Doctor of Ministry degree from Concordia Theological Seminary Ft. Wayne in Spring 2020.
