Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 22:6)

We at St. John value our Lord's call for us to train up our children in His Word.  We believe that children are members of the Body of Christ on earth and that they are in need of spiritual nourishment just as much as their parents are.  Therefore,  we at St. John offer the following assistance to those who seek to bring our Lord's Word into the lives of children:

Sunday School
Sunday School is offered between Labor Day and Memorial Day for children of all ages.  We have a Moms-n-2's class for toddlers and a guardian, as well as regular classes for children grades preschool-8th grade.  All students meet at 9:30 am in the Church before classes split off to their different classrooms.

Summer Sunday School
Summer Sunday School is offered for school aged children.  These classes are more laid back and usually follow a video series of some sort.  Summer Sunday School runs begins after Memorial Day and runs until Labor Day.

Vacation Bible School
Each Summer, St. John dedicates the last week in July to VBS.  Averaging around 200 students with about 50 volunteers, VBS is a time of singing, crafts, games, fellowship, and growing in our Lord's Word. Click here for a glimpse at the 2014 VBS: Weird Animals.

Christian Dayschool
St. John Lutheran School is a primary focus of our ministry for children.  For more information, visit the School Page.

Family Activities
Different family activities are offered throughout the year, including Family Game Nights, Family Movie Nights, the Fall FunFest, Trunk-or-Treating, and more.  Check the Calendar or our Facebook Page to see what's coming next!
